Ingredients2 cups (~500 g) of mashed potatoes
1 cup of grated cheese
2 tbsp of flour
salt, chilli or cayene pepper
PreparationPut all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix them throughly. Do not mix them too long as mashed potatoes tend to become more sticky the longer you work them. Take a small portion of resulting mass and roll it on a cutting board to form a long “snake”. Cut it into 5-7 cm chunks and deep fry for 2-3 min. Flip sticks on the other side and continue frying until they are deep brown.
An example of a serving – a salmon, corn on a cob and potato sticks. With ketchup or bearnaise sauce this dish is simply irresistible.
